Dr. Susan Rowe’s journey spans continents, disciplines, and decades of impact in education and her own identity formation. From coral reef research in Brazil to leading multimillion-dollar STEM education initiatives in Oregon, her path has always centered on inspiring youth, learning equity, imagination, and community-rooted engagement.
As a Latina in STEM, first-generation college graduate, and lifelong educator, Susan has built a career on turning “what if” into “what’s next.” With over 20 years of experience in K–12, higher education, nonprofits, and industry, she brings deep expertise in grant writing, curriculum design, educator development, and multilingual communication.
